What you'll be doing:

As a Service Engineer, you’ll resolve technical challenges for customers in your region. Equipped with your Certhon van, stocked with all the necessary tools, you’ll begin your day at the office with a cup of coffee. After loading your van with the prepared materials from our warehouse, you’ll head out with your digital work orders to customer sites. On location, you’ll diagnose and resolve technical challenges, whether in pumps, cooling and heating systems, or boiler houses. No issue is too challenging for you. If needed, you’ll consult your colleagues back at the office, brainstorming together to find the best solution. Once the issue is resolved, you’ll update your digital work order, pack up your tools, and head to the next customer. After finishing your tasks, you can head straight home.

In addition to on-site work, you’ll also remotely access customer systems. One of the perks of this role is that Certhon’s projects span the globe. For instance, you might troubleshoot a local technical challenge in the morning and log into a climate computer in America in the afternoon. This variety keeps the job both exciting and challenging!
When remote solutions aren’t possible, you’ll coordinate with our service department to dispatch another service engineer to the site. Additionally, you’ll participate in our monthly breakdown service rotation to ensure customers are supported outside office hours. Don’t worry—we’ll give you comprehensive training during your onboarding program to get you up to speed with our methods and technologies.

Who are you?

• You have a strong background and relevant work experience in electrical engineering;
• You are solution-oriented, eager to learn, and keen to develop your skills further;
• You hold a valid driver's license (B);
• You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both Dutch and English;
• You can work independently as well as in a team.
