What you'll be doing:

As a Project Engineer Greenhouses, you’ll develop the complete construction plans for our projects. Starting with a basic concept, you’ll create a detailed and executable plan. Our Sales Engineer provides the initial project framework, using sales documents and existing templates (we build greenhouses daily, after all 😉) as the foundation for your work. You’ll refine the design down to the smallest details, ensuring everything from the main structure to the tiniest bolts and nuts fits perfectly together. You’ll work in both 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (HiCad).

In addition to design work, you’ll also handle project preparation. This involves coordinating with suppliers, purchasing the materials, managing construction drawings for the assembly teams, and ensuring everything arrives on-site, on time, and within budget. This makes you fully responsible for the construction aspects of your projects—exciting, right?! Thanks to your sharp organizational skills and attention to detail, every project runs smoothly. Your role is essential to the success of our projects!

For turnkey projects, you’ll collaborate closely with Project Engineers from other disciplines, such as electrical, climate, and water technology. You’ll meet with the project team at least once a week, gaining insight into other specializations. You’ll also regularly brainstorm with our construction experts, continuously expanding your knowledge. Additionally, you can visit project sites to verify your designs in practice and learn hands-on!

Who are you?

• You have a technical background with at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Experience in horticulture is a plus but not required;
• You’re passionate about solving complex technical challenges;
• You have experience with 2D and/or 3D design software (knowledge of AutoCAD and HiCad is an advantage);
• You are organized, eager to learn, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented;
• You possess strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
