What you'll be doing:

As an intern at Certhon, you will conduct cutting-edge plant research in a controlled growing environment. You will explore questions such as:

• How does a crop behave in an indoor farm?
• How can we optimize growth under different conditions?

Together with your supervisor, you will develop a clear research plan. You will monitor the crop from seedling to harvest, take measurements, and translate your findings into valuable insights. You will work in our Certhon Innovation Centre, where we experiment with a wide range of crops – from tomatoes and cucumbers to exotic flowers like orchids.

Your research will help push the boundaries of indoor farming. Together, we innovate and make a real impact on the future of horticulture.

Who are you?

• You are studying Plant Sciences, Crop Science, Biology, or Horticulture at HBO/University level;
• You are looking for a research internship of 3 to 6 months;
• You are independent, analytical, and enthusiastic about innovation in horticulture;
• You are eager to learn, enjoy brainstorming new ideas, and want to contribute to our mission: growing anything, anywhere. For everyone!
