Project Engineer in Electrical Engineering
Become our new Project Engineer in Electrical Engineering!
We usually respond within a week
Put your technical expertise to work in the most innovative projects worldwide! Whether you design the electrical installations for a greenhouse in the Westland or a project in Lithuania, you ensure that every detail is correct. Will you help build the next project?
What you'll be doing:
As a Project Engineer in Electrical Engineering, you are responsible for creating detailed drawings of all electrical installations within our projects. You work closely with project engineers from other disciplines, such as climate and water technology, as electrical engineering is deeply integrated into their designs. You meet with the project team at least once a week, providing a valuable opportunity to learn from other specializations. After consulting with your colleagues, you gain a thorough understanding of the project requirements and you can start your work immediately.
Using designs and flow diagrams from other disciplines, you develop the electrical installations in meticulous detail. This includes, for example, electrical systems for greenhouse installations, water and climate systems, electric doors, Priva climate computers, and of course our own climate computer (CCS). You ensure that all electrical components integrate seamlessly with the installations designed by your colleagues.

You start with designing the electrical installations in Intelec. Next, you create panel drawings in SEE Electrical, and finally, you develop the installations in HiCad, our 3D design software, to integrate them seamlessly into the overall project design.
In addition to drafting the project, you also handle work preparation. This involves interacting with suppliers, procuring materials, preparing construction drawings for assembly teams, and ensuring everything arrives on time and within budget at the construction site. In this role, you take full responsibility for the electrical installations in your projects. Exciting, right?! With your strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail, every project runs smoothly. You’ll also regularly collaborate with our electrical specialists, providing opportunities to continually expand your knowledge. Plus, you’ll visit project sites to verify that your designs are being implemented as planned and to gain practical experience.
On top of the variety in your tasks, you’ll work on one to three projects simultaneously, depending on their size. The exciting part? Certhon is known for tackling highly complex projects, from advanced climate cells to traditional greenhouses with cutting-edge installations. In short: as a Project Engineer in Electrical Engineering, you’ll enjoy a dynamic and challenging role!
