Are you handy and enjoy variety in your daily tasks? At Certhon, we’re looking for a hands-on team player who ensures our building and grounds are in top shape. Whether you’re stocking the kitchens, watering the plants, or handling minor repairs, you’re the go-to person who keeps our workplace neat, functional, and enjoyable for everyone.

What you'll be doing:

As our Handyman, you’ll have a dynamic and rewarding role. You might start the day by stocking coffee, tea, and towels in the kitchens, making sure your colleagues have everything they need to get going. Additionally:

On Monday mornings, you’ll prepare fresh fruit, and on Wednesdays, you’ll heat the freshly delivered soup.
Keep the supply room tidy and restock it when needed.
Maintain our outdoor areas: water plants, pick up litter, and coordinate with the gardener.
Perform minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, lubricating doors, or fixing the sweeping machine. If something’s beyond your expertise, you’ll coordinate with the Facilities department.
On Saturday mornings, you’ll lead a group of young people (ages 15-21) who take care of tasks in and around the building, like collecting paper, cleaning coffee machines, or moving supplies. You’ll ensure the work goes smoothly while keeping the atmosphere fun and engaging.

Who are you?

You’re available for 4 mornings a week, one of which is Saturday (maximum 20 hours a week);
You’re handy, proactive, and always ready with a solution for small tasks;
You enjoy mentoring young people and are a great communicator;
You like staying active and aren’t one to sit still;
Good to know: retirees who want to keep busy are also very welcome!
