Legal Counsel

Use your legal knowledge for our international horticultural projects and our internal operations. Whether you're drafting an (international) sales contract or handling disputes, you ensure that all legal matters are addressed properly! Are you ready to draft the next contract?

What you'll be doing:

As Legal Counsel, you will be the first point of contact for all legal matters within our organization. You will work closely with one colleague in the Legal department and have a wide range of responsibilities. You will advise, support, and act in various legal matters, collaborating with colleagues across all departments, making a direct impact on our organization. These matters include (international) sales contracts, international litigation, project financing, joint ventures, privacy law, and intellectual property issues. Additionally, you will support our external legal partners in handling legal issues or court proceedings.

To be successful in this role, it's important that you can communicate legal information in a clear and persuasive way to colleagues and stakeholders. At Certhon, you will work on diverse projects worldwide, in collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers. This makes our world challenging and dynamic, with various perspectives and interests. You are eager to delve into this complexity, understand the bigger picture, and proactively seek collaboration within the organization to find solutions.

Who are you?

You have a completed HBO or university degree in Law;
You have at least five years of experience as a legal counsel or lawyer;
You are able to quickly understand complex legal issues and come up with clear, practical solutions;
You have experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and resolving disputes. Experience with compliance and corporate projects is a plus;
You have excellent proficiency in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
