What you'll be doing:

As a Sales Engineer in Electrical Engineering, you are the key link between sales and engineering. You transform the customer’s complex electrical requirements into a custom-made technical design and you calculate the project costs. You work in projectteams together with specialists in water technology, structural engineering, and climate technology. Together, you operate as one cohesive technical unit. You design the infrastructure, both electrical and computertechnical. As a Sales Engineer in Electrical Engineering, you play a key role in connecting all elements of the project design process.

You will join the Electrical Sales Engineering team: a small, close‑knit group of three colleagues with an open and informal atmosphere, where close collaboration is essential.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating layout drawings in AutoCAD;

• Performing cable and power calculations;

• Calculating project costs, including labor, in our ERP system;

• Supporting the estimating team in striving for continuous improvement through process optimization, integrating new market/product developments into your designs, and applying new practical insights;

• Consulting with suppliers on both technical and commercial topics;

• Preparing quotations and reviewing them with the sales team. Our sales representatives will present your proposal to the customer;

• Collaborating with the sales team on the design. Once a project is sold, you hand over your design and project information to the project engineers, who will further develop the project in detail.

The best part of your job? Every project is unique: always tailored to the customer’s needs, suitable for different crops, and built to withstand various weather conditions. This ensures you remain technically challenged. You will also work on multiple projects at the same time and occasionally join customer meetings to provide expert advice.

Who are you?

• You have completed an MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering;

• You are a junior, medior, or senior, with passion for technology;

• You have an affinity with the horticultural sector. Experience in the sector is a plus but not required;

• You are strong with numbers, analytical, and detail‑oriented;

• You work accurately, are eager to learn, can switch quickly, and collaborate well;

• You have a passion for solving complex technical challenges;

• You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
