What you'll be doing:

As Support Software Engineer you are responsible for improving our software and handling software related malfunction incidents. You proactively call customers and log in to their systems to prevent problems. You ensure that our customers receive the right service and that their software continues to work optimally. You play an important role in ensuring and improving the quality of our installations, cool right?!

In addition to optimizing software, you will also solve software related malfunctions. When our service department receives a customer request regarding to software, you are ready to start working on it immediately. You log in to the software and start analysing what's the problem. When you have found it, you program the software in such a way that the malfunction is solved. For example, think of adjusting the description, documentation or the software itself. The next step is to roll out the solution in our software so that the malfunction can be prevented next time. We like to work efficient;)

What makes this role exciting is that we have many high-tech installations that are controlled by our own software and we have installations with software from other suppliers for which we guarantee. You will immerse yourself in all this software to help our customers in the best possible way. Are you familiar with all our software? Then you'll be part of our second-line breakdown services where you provide support to our service engineers. Do you have the ambition to work on our software on-site at customers? If so, we would be happy to discuss this in order to expand your position!

Who are you?

• You have completed a degree in Software Engineering, Service Engineer or a similar field;
• You have extensive experience with the programming language C;
• Your are passionate about solving problems in the software of complex technical installations;
• You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both Dutch and English;
• You are stress-resistant, can switch easily and do not mind working outside office hours if necessary.
