Use your drawing and work preparation skills in our global horticultural projects! Whether you're creating drawings for a greenhouse in the Westland or ordering materials for an earthquake-resistant project in Japan, you'll ensure our projects are accurate down to the last detail.
What you'll be doing:
As a Project Engineer Greenhouses, you'll develop the entire construction process for our projects and take care of the work preparation. You are an important link between the sales/calculation department and the operations. Your input will transform the overall designs into detailed production drawings and material lists.
Your tasks include:
- Creating layout drawings and production drawings in AutoCAD and HiCAD;
- Selecting and ordering materials;
- Coordinating delivery times with suppliers;
- Creating assembly drawings for the construction teams.
As a Project Engineer Greenhouses, you'll also be in close contact with colleagues from various departments within Certhon. The best part of your job? Every project is unique: always tailored to the customer's whishes, suitable for different crops and weather conditions.
Who are you?
- You have a MBO or HBOdegree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field and have two years of relevant work experience;
- You have an affinity with the horticultural sector or greenhouse construction;
- You have experience with 2D and 3D drawing (knowledge of AutoCAD and HiCAD is a plus);
- You are organized, able to maintain a good overview, and are eager to learn;
- You work accurately, can adapt quickly, and have an eye for detail;
- You have good communication skills in Dutch and English.
